The Trafalgar Rowing Centre is a community facility administered by Trafalgar 2001 Trust Limited to whom the London Borough of Greenwich has granted long leases of the Centre premises. The Trust is a not for profit organisation and registered charity whose primary charitable object is the ‘organisation and provision of facilities…for water related and other recreation…for the public benefit in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the condition of life of persons who by reason of their youth and/or social and/or economic circumstances have need of such facilities.’
The Centre is presently open for use to members of the two Member Rowing Clubs – Globe RC and Curlew RC – who offer rowing to beginners and visitors. The Centre is also open for use by local schools and community groups by arrangement.
