Trafalgar 2001 Trust Limited operates and manages the Trafalgar Rowing Centre, which is a community facility. The Trafalgar Trust, as it is commonly known, is a registered charity and non-profit organisation. The primary charitable objective of the Trust is to organise and provide facilities for water-based and other recreational activities, for the public’s advantage and the promotion of social welfare.

Due to its charitable mission, the London Borough of Greenwich Council has granted its Member clubs, Curlew and Globe Rowing Clubs, as well as local schools and community organisations, a long-term lease on the Centre’s facilities.

The venue can accommodate a variety of events, including private and corporate parties, receptions, conferences and meetings, as well as team building events involving the use of the gym or rowing on the river with the assistance of one of the two rowing societies based at the Trafalgar Rowing Centre.
