About

he Trafalgar Rowing Centre is a community facility administered by Trafalgar 2001 Trust Limited to whom the London Borough of Greenwich has granted long leases of the Centre premises. The Trust is a not for profit organisation and registered charity whose primary charitable object is the ‘organisation and provision of facilities…for water related and other recreation…for the public benefit in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the condition of life of persons who by reason of their youth and/or social and/or economic circumstances have need of such facilities.’

The Centre is presently open for use to members of the two Member Rowing Clubs – Globe RC and Curlew RC – who offer rowing to beginners and visitors, we are actively seeking additional members who would be interested in sharing the centre (including the gym facility). The centre has a fully functioning gym, a boathouse for canoes and rowing boats, changing facilities and a fully licensed bar and function room able to cater for medium sized events (80 people).

The Centre is also open for use by local schools, university and community groups by arrangement check out the charity section for more information or contact us via the link below.

We are actively seeking to diversify the usage of the centre and supporting local charities, businesses and social clubs – get in contact!
